Coaches from Provincial Sport Organizations and their community organizations/clubs are invited to attend the free Enhancing Integrated Support Team Incorporation workshop on Friday, May 2 in Regina (12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.). Lunch will be provided.
Hosted in partnership between Canadian Sport Centre Saskatchewan, the Sport Medicine & Science Council of Saskatchewan and the the Coaches Association of Saskatchewan, the workshop is designed to help you bring the leading sport science and medicine practices into your provincial and club programs.
Held in the Saskatchewan Roughrider Auditorium and Players’ Lounge, the afternoon will include short presentations that will explore ways to improve performance in your program and connect with the sport medicine and science resources to help your athletes reach their full potential.
The presentations will also help you answer the questions:
- What makes a top athlete or gold medallist in your sport?
- How can sport science and medicine support athletes on their journey to success?
Coaches who attend the workshop will receive three National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) professional development points.
Please forward this invitation on to coaches within your organization who have the opportunity to access Sport Medicine & Science Council of Saskatchewan services.
